The Story Behind True Blue
In Australia, where our founder Darren Cook grew up, “true blue” means genuine, loyal, and dependable. It reflects the kind of service we aim to provide.
After moving to the U.S. in 2016, Darren earned an accounting degree from the University of Akron and worked in tax preparation and accounting before starting True Blue Tax Co. He wanted to bring the personal attention of a small firm to a convenient online process.
